I recently hired an electrician from HK Electric Inc. to replace my Federal Pacific panel, which had been flagged during an inspection as outdated and unsafe. The need for an upgrade was also critical to meet home insurance eligibility, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. They also went an extra mile by installing proper grounding measures with a ground rod and bar for extra safety along with the panel installations and boxes. I even asked them for a paper for approval with their signature and electrician license number and stamps, and they were kind enough to do it for me! Insurance companies are such a hassle and these guys made my life so much better.
Great group of guys to work with. They were the first to respond to my request for an estimate. They gave me a fair price and got the job done successfully. They worked patiently with Con Ed and the Dept of Buildings to get everything done right and passed inspection. I just switched to an EV and needed to install a level 2 charger in my home ASAP. Upon messaging them, Kevin responded to my inquiry within minutes and answered all of my questions in depth. He came by the same day to provide a finalized quote and his team was here to install the charger the next morning. Everyone was friendly throughout the whole process and thoroughly cleaned up the area afterwards. They also included a 1-year warranty for the work which eases the stress of any issues that may come up. I would definitely recommend them if you need an EV charger installed!
